Lin Bercher began her work in financial services in 1978 as an advisor for a major insurance company. That led to a 19-year stay with Deutsche Asset Management (formerly Kemper Funds), where Ms. Bercher performed a variety of roles before becoming its Senior Vice President and Managing Director. She left the firm in 1999 to become a Founding Partner and Group President of Envestnet Asset Management, which quickly emerged as a state-of-the-art, Web-based workstation which delivers customized wealth solutions.

Bercher Consulting Group launched in 2003.
